Love your viewpoints and agree with the workaround of adding a link to show 140+ characters as oppose to showing the entire tweet. However I think the mental restraint of only 140 characters causes users to carefully craft a concise message. Removing this barrier will likely change the way ppl think about their post and ultimately lead to longer sentences that are cut short by a “read more” link. Maybe I’m biased bc I don’t experience many tweetstormers of my TL but I actually enjoy tuning into these random spurts of dialogue.
