Newsfeeds for MyMiniFactory

I’ve been on a “web scraping” kick lately to create newsfeeds. I asked MyMiniFactory if they were planning on creating a newsfeed, and they gave me encouragement to use their API and create one myself. That’s a big improvement over scraping.

I’m using the fairly new JSON Feed standard, which is much more sane than Atom and RSS. Feel free to use these feed URLs in your reader of choice. You can also see what it looks like in Newsblur, no login needed.

My python code is on github at tedder/myminifactory-feeds; it isn’t generified (e.g., it publishes to my AWS S3 bucket), but I’d encourage you to create a pull request if you have improvements anyhow.
