I have to admit that my interest here is rather specific; having to do with “Faust” and Euphorion vs Ada. What I am curious about is how Ada’s insight here affected those who followed. This is, of course, hard to quantify. It does seem that people like Turing had at least read her, the extent to which their thought was shaped by her is probably unknowable.
