There’s a book you should try to find, by Merlin Stone, titled When God Was a Woman. I agree with much of this, but what the author forgets is that many of her attitudes are the result of her growing up in the second class status of “just” a woman. The closer women get to equality, the less of a difference there will be in their attitudes — and not all of the change will be on the side of the men.
