Offensive filth from Seven News

So by some mis-click or absent-mindedness, I am in the position of having ‘liked’ the Facebook page for the Seven Network’s ‘Seven News’. This is a position entitling me to regular ‘news updates’.

I want to make clear, my grievance is not with the Seven Network, or even with Seven News. I only fault the author and decision maker of today’s appalling, garbage, filth, mud and dirt post which appeared in my newsfeed.

I swear, this is what it said.

‘Police officers and volunteers also claim to have spotted ghosts in the weeks following the September 11 tragedy’.

“Footage claims to capture ‘ghost’ rising from rubble of World Trade Centre days after 9/11”

This is naturally accompanied by a pixelated image of a blur.

Congratulations, Seven Network, you have officially recycled the chain emails of crackpots from fifteen years ago and turned it into clickbait.

Are you fucking serious?

It is said that comedy is tragedy plus time. This is what the halfway mark looks like.

Don’t read this content. I urge everyone to unlike purveyors of this scandalous material.

Only consumers can lean on news media to improve their standards. Content like this should be actively mocked and criticized.
