Kel, well put in your reply and your original post above. It’s a moment to reflect and think about how our actions, regardless of how well-intentioned, affect the individuals they are intended for. I’m a door opener. My mother taught me to be a gentleman and I try to honor her every day with some small act of kindness. But you’re right. At what point does this act of kindness subvert the other individual.

Thank you for expressing yourself. That’s the true conversation that’s needed. That is what leads to better understanding.
