An Argument In Defense of Autopilot

While I’ll admit that autopilot is fun and the machinery may have been built to withstand whatever turbulence it might encounter, it’s also imperative to recognize that the craft never climbs up to cruise height on autopilot. Also, less significantly, other manned machines have the aptitude to meet up at the level the craft is being auto-piloted on.

A note has to be made for wariness and keeping an eye out for turbulence because even though the machine won’t get completely grounded, being so fortified, disturbances will make it lose altitude which is good also, because then you have to get back in control and rise higher than the turbulence. Basically, man your controls on autopilot too.
