Teespring Spotlight: Gemma Rodo

Where are you from? I am from a city near Barcelona where I lived my entire life — until I moved to London that is!
When did you join Teespring? I joined Teespring in March 2015, just 2 months after I made the move from Barcelona to London. When I joined the company, honestly, the first thing I thought was how cool it was: young professionals, multicultural workplace, amazing atmosphere, great ideas and free tees! :P
What were you doing before Teespring? Before joining Teespring I was working as a Tax Lawyer in Barcelona, but as I wanted to have an international experience, I decided to move to London. I started at Teespring as a packer — which I would do in between other jobs. I guess my hard work was noticed, as soon the company gave me the great opportunity to start working in the Supply Chain team. (A big thanks to Patricia!)
Describe your job a little bit — what does your day-to-day look like? As Supply Chain coordinator, my daily tasks are mainly to help and supervise the team. I am constantly trying to improve our internal processes while innovating on ways to work more efficiently.
How has Teespring changed or evolved since you first joined? Well, as I mentioned, when I first joined Teespring I was a packer. Since then, the company has evolved a lot in many aspects. We started first transitioning from the Fabrily platform to adapt to the processes Teespring operated with (a big change, believe me!) Then we changed our fulfillment strategy by closing our in-house fulfillment. Now, Teespring is constantly improving, directing priorities and strategies to new needs for every period.
What is your favorite part of your job — or what is one of your favorite Teespring moments yet? My favorite part of my job is to be able to help and make things easier to my lovely team. I believe that one of the best things Teespring has is the human capital. It is really easy to work and grow surrounded by amazing people!
