Even if you love using AI, you would still agree that it has cluttered the writing space more than ever.

Where it is helping writers in researching, non-writers are generating trash in the name of content.

In the past few months, I have edited various articles to eliminate the AI-generated content from them and made them more “humanized”.

Here are some hacks. Not all of them would be helpful every time. You have to test and try to pick the suitable ones. Since every article is different, you would need different tips to remove AI so they can pass the detectors.

Tips to remove AI from the content:

  1. Split long and heavy sentences. Detectors pick the long sentence as AI (generally) even if they are human-written.
  2. Avoid using irrelevant and cliched synonyms.
  3. Use Quillbot to alter the article sentence by sentence. Even after that, you have to edit it yourself.
  4. Add some extra information (stats, facts) here and there in the article.
  5. AI does not write content with new perspectives or different contexts. By adding your own POV, you can significantly reduce the robotic tone.
  6. Rearranging paragraphs and sentences might be effective. But, ensure that they are well-sync.
  7. Wordtune is also a great alternative for rephrasing.
  8. Add personal examples and experiences (if your niche allows).

Removing AI is not just about rephrasing the articles. You might need to add fresh information as well.

Understanding human emotions, needs, and issues will help you use the language that connects with them.
