Toothbrush head length

Brushes for children of age group 2–6 should have head length 19 mm.

Brushes for children of age group 6–12 should have head length 22 mm..

Brushes for children of age group of 12 and above should have head length of approximately 25 mm.

Dimensions of different brush size

This was done to get the standard value of each part of the brush. To get to know how much of size of head , neck and handle should i keep so that the user doesn’t have any problem while using it.

Also to take measurement references for my brush.

For kids ( 3- 14 years)

No. of tufts:- 32

Diameter of a tuft:- 2 mm

Length of bristles :-

longer tip :- 10 mm

rest :- 8 mm

Thickness of plastic toothbrush head:- 10 mm

For Babies

No. of tufts:- 19

Diameter of a tuft:- 1.5 mm appox

Length of bristles :- 10 mm

Thickness of plastic toothbrush head:- 11 mm

For Adults

No. of tufts:- 38

Diameter of a tuft:-2 mm approx

Length of bristles :-

longer tip :- 12 mm

rest :- 11 mm, 10 mm

Thickness of plastic toothbrush head:- 7 mm
