from your dear Rosalind

Goodbye, he says without a passing glance
At what has struck me square between the eyes.
Although I cannot blame him for the pass
A little recognition would be nice.

This image, which contains a final clue,
Contributed and was their fierce ally.
A crystallographer, indeed, it’s true
’Twas me on which the duo did rely.

The cancer of my science did me in.
Good work was done, yes, that I would admit.
That single photo, “51”, and kin-
Good Lord, how I was hes’tant to commit.

But when Nobel doth give from his great hoard-
They don’t posthumously give awards!

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
