When freedom happens?

(C) Yara T.

Resisting conservative values

Fighting against traditions

We find ourselves trapped

To the things we identify with

One can think once you are free from societal beliefs and expectations

You gain happiness, you find yourself

However, life throws at you challenges for your new beliefs

To be shattered again, and then again, and again

And only when you lie still in bed with your eyes wide open

Late summer night

Or run

Early in the morning to the nowhere and scream..

Scream to the god, scream to the universe, scream to your life that you are over

To the life you are fed up with and tired of

And only when you do that

You release the weight of the chain that is holding you back

The chain of your identity

The chain of your old beliefs, new beliefs, gotknowswhatother beliefs

That is when your heart is pure and open and fragile

But strong enough to know

That any storm it has to go through

It will survive.

You can do it 🙏🏽
