Do you ride motorcycles? Yes? Then you need this stuff!!!
What’s up dudes and chicks. Long time, no see. I’m here to review a bunch of awesome motorcycle gear that I’ve used this summer.
FIRST MFG CO. LEATHER

This old school biker leather kicks some major ass. Comfortable, protective, and warm, FIRST brings the quality for a pretty reasonable price too. I have their badlands vest, a set of their chaps, and their 60’s rocker jacket. I love all of it. It gives me excellent wind protection and the leather is thick as hell. I know it will give excellent abrasion protection if I happen to go down at speed. Do not sleep on old school biker leather. This stuff is tried and true. It has stood the test of time, splitting the difference between comfort and safety that only a really balanced and cool garment can. It’s super fun to deck this stuff out with patches etc too. I have about 7000 mi between my vest and jacket, and I can safely say I have loved every min of wearing them. I will definitely buy more of their leather.
BILTWELL

I LOVE BILTWELL’S PRODUCTS. Everything this company makes is pure gold. I have never seen any company, anywhere, bring the level of quality at the price that Biltwell does. I own their moto bars, murdock 8in risers, bonanza helmet, lanesplitter helmet, and I have worn their gloves too. The moto bars saved my bike in a slow speed tip over. They were also super comfy, but they looked kind of lame on my dyna, so I changed em to tall murdock risers and tracker bars. The murdock risers are super heavy chromemoly steel. They are a real bargain. You are getting a superior product for the money with that riser. The Bonanza helmet is my favorite helmet. It is small, and thin profile with really helps with touring. It’s replaceable bubble shields are awesome and come in a rainbow of colors. Basically it rules. The Lanesplitter helmet also has a very slim profile and fits really well. It’s super comfy and is super simple. The thin profile of the helmet definitely helps with touring. The visor has a great detent, and the helmet is super light which reduces neck strain. Biltwell’s moto glove feels like nothing, and you can use your phone with it. So, maybe not great on protection, but awesome for convenience. You can definitely do up your double d ring on your helmet or turn your bike keys with them on. Also, the customer support from Biltwell is nothing but flawless. Message them on facebook whenever, they will always get back to you.
THRASHIN SUPPLY CO.
Thrashin makes awesome stuff too. I have their tracker mid bar, their day tripper saddlebags, and three sets of their gloves. Thrashin’s stuff is made right here in the USA! I love the handlebars I got from them. They are super thick and heavy duty, they are just right for lane splitting and tight manuvering! Thrashin’s gloves are excellent. Their stealth gloves are super lightweight for summer riding and have a sick lightning bolt on the middle finger. I have the version with a leather palm, so I have some protection too. I also have their high viz covert glove (no protection becuase it’s just suade and very light textile) and their leather gauntlet which is pretty awesome. The guantlet is not perforated and it is lined to keep the cold out. Basically it goes over your jacket’s wrist to keep the wind out of your jacket. I’ve ridden with it at 50 degrees (f) which translates to 10 degrees (c) for all you non-murricans out there. The leather is super supple so I recommend you get the tightest fit you can get on your hand, because it will break in. Mine are a little loose. I also love my Thrashin Essential Saddlebags. They are small, lunch box sized, very heavy nylon bags with high viz paneling on the inside. The bags are water resistant, have tons of cool pockets, and hold a surprising amount of stuff. I can fit my chaps, cut, and a bunch of other chotchkies in there!
BASSANI XHAUST

Bassani has been making sick pipes since 1969. Their pipes are loud as fuck, they can make your bike perform better, and they are basically fucking awesome. I have the Bassani Road Rage III Greg Lutzka Edition Pipe on my bike and it looks, and sounds amazing. My bike is far more powerful and sounds great because of the pipe. Anyone who can get Bassani pipes for their bike, should. It’s 100% worth it.
KLOCK WORKS IOMOUNTS NOMAD

This little fucker is the best phone mount for motorcycles, PERIOD! It is a magnetic mount that sinches on to your handlebar with a really rugged rubber strap. The magnet sticks onto the back of your phone and it locks in place. HARD. This phone mount held my phone on my bike from Buffalo all the way to NYC. That is a 370 mile ride. No need for annoying straps or rubber bands. This mount has held my phone above 100mph. I can’t recommend it enough.
THE AMAZON SPECIAL HEADLIGHT

This headlight is unbelievably bright. I love it. If you have an H4 headlight bulb in a 5"3/4 or 7" bucket, buy this thing and throw your old lamp in the trash. For only $37.99 there is literally nobody who can compete with the insane quality and amazing safety that these Chinese headlights bring on Amazon. Custom Dynamics and other companies may be upset by their proliferation on Amazon, but, these lights have about the same quality and really blow CD and others completely out of the water. It is a full lamp, set up from the factory to give you excellent down-road light and coverage. For only a little more you can switch the pattern of lights in the lamp up for maximum style. I love this light because I love riding at night. Nothing better.
I’m sure I’ll think of some more stuff later, but this is good for now. Keep on riding guys! I’ll make a post about LAME STUFF THAT SUCKS next!
