Choosing The Best WordPress Theme For Your Blog

Are you a Self-Hosted WordPress blogger that is always changing your theme because you want the best WordPress theme for your blog?

Are you trying to decide on which theme is better fit for your blog?

I have changed my theme for my blog many times in the past. I couldn’t decide if I wanted a framework with a child theme or just a simple theme with easy to follow theme options.

I run two blogs and the themes that I use for each of them are totally different because each blog is different. I wanted to make sure that I was using a professional type theme for the niche of each blog.

I am not saying you have to use the same type of themes that I use, these are just the ones that I recommend. I want you to use what you feel comfortable with with the price that you can afford.

Choosing The Best WordPress Theme For Your Blog

With so many WordPress themes (free and premium) available nowadays, it’s hard to choose a theme for your blog. I can’t even count how many I have gone through a theme before deciding.

Below I will list the 2 places that I recommend with both having free and premium themes to choose from. On both of my blogs, I am using premium themes but in the past, I have also used free themes. It’s whatever works for you.

Genesis Framework + Child Theme

On this blog, I am using Genesis Framework with a premium Child Theme called Parallax Pro. I have changed the theme here many times but keep coming back to this theme, I really love it and it fits well with my niche.

There are many reasons to choose Genesis Framework:

  • Search Engine Optimization
  • Responsive HTML5 Designs
  • Unlimited Everything
  • Airtight Security
  • Instant Updates
  • Customizable and Fast
  • Widgets and Layout Options
  • Developers you can trust
  • And so much more!

I purchased Genesis a few years ago and it has been one of the best purchases I have made for this blog. Back then, I purchased many of the themes because I could not decide. If you want Genesis and want all of their themes, you have to checkout the package that they offer!

My Theme Shop WordPress Themes

These themes are also some really good themes that I recommend. I use one of their premium themes called “Blogging”on my other blog and it fits it pretty well. I wanted something simple to set up so it would not take a lot of my time, since it is my second blog.

My Theme Shop themes require no coding. The theme options is pretty easy to set up so that you will have your blog set up and running in now time.

Here are the benefits and features of these themes:

  • And so much more!

I have been using the themes from both of the sources for along time now and I love them both. The only other thing I can say right now is that if you know some coding, Genesis would be great for you.
