What You Wanted Me to Write About

A Little Girl Tries

Nothing Is Too Random So Be Prepared

So there is something you should never do.

(Besides the obvious ones like talk with food in your mouth and eat pineapple pizza.)

Never tell your friends, “Give me a topic to write about.”

The surreal paintings of Salvador Dali will contain more sense and meaning than the conglomeration of thoughts, ideas, and words they throw at you.

I mean, do you know how to fit “work visas” and “birds” into a common story?

(No, no one is flying to Europe on the back of an eagle because their visa was denied. I am looking at you, Gandalf.)

My sister, noting my confusion, helps me out by adding to the pile.

She asks me what “real love” is. Simple question, right? Could answer that over breakfast.

Well…this is going to be fun, I said to no one in particular. Except maybe to the newest rolly-polly who had found his way beneath my door. And I began to write.

How did I do?

Check out the rants, personal stories, and everything else I employed in an attempt to salvage these topics :

  1. What Is Real Love?-> My Sister Said, “What Is Real Love?”
  2. Birds->The Little Girl Who Wanted To Be a Bird
  3. Work Visas-> When France Rejected Me
  4. Why Young People Shouldn’t Be Responsible-> Are You a Firstborn?

Do you think you have a question so hard I cannot write on it?

Or have a topic as basic as buttered bread but you want me to write a personal anecdote on it?

Leave them in the comments! I am up for the challenge.
