Writing is about consistency
When was the last time you started writing with no particular goal in mind?
Whether you are a professional writer or an online enthusiast, writing is still omni-present in our digital world.
An increasing need for content consumption has led to a growing need for content.
That’s when we arrived in the time of fake news and clickbait stories. Is this writing all about then?
I may not have a clear answer to this, but I can still focus on the beauty of writing.
It’s not about mastering your art, but more about crafting it.
The first steps may be difficult, but these are the more rewarding. Every experience brings us closer to the beauty of writing. And this comes by appreciating the journey and dedicating time to practice its craft.
It’s not always about writing with a specific purpose in mind. You don’t need to be afraid of what the outcome will be.
Sometimes our best work is the most spontaneous one.
You don’t even have to share your work with your world. You can still enjoy the experience by writing on your own.
You just have to show up. And write.
It may not be as easy as it sounds, especially with our hectic daily schedules, but once you convince yourself to dedicate even 15 minutes per day on it, then everything becomes easier.
Consistency is one of the best ways to improve your content writing, provided that you’re staying focused on your goal.
Medium is my favourite platform to feel creative enough to write about topics that I don’t normally do, so this is my attempt to embrace my own consistency.
After all, once you’re acknowledging the challenge, you’re already closer to overcome it.
