Too early? I'd say start as soon as you feel like it. It is likely that you'll make mistakes at first, especially if you haven't dated for a long time and the dating apps appear confusing.

I've never driven drunk but that's no great acheivement. I just learned to drive older than most people, so I did not get to be young and unwise behind the wheel. I've also stopped drinking all alcohol at a fairly young age.

When I drive long-distance now I make a point to take breaks to rest because that's about as bad as drunk driving.

Hmm... and now that I think of it. I have driven a few times while too tired. I don't have any stories of crashing or crossing the median though. So I guess I've been unwise behind the wheel after all.
