Instant exchange is available and allows users to send and receive any type of fiat or digital currency and then easily convert.
Sending money has never been easier, no need to store multiple addresses and details for different currencies. Users are able to send funds to other users instantly using our dynamic Tellus ID system that allows any user to accept any currency globally. When a new currency is received a wallet is instantly created and the user is notified of the deposit.
Deposit and withdraw in digital and cryptocurrency is available globally, with fiat funding and withdrawal available exclusively in South Africa at launch.
Tellus has a powerful API available for merchants and allows them to accept online and digital payments through the Tellus app. You need to apply to become a vendor through the website and refer to the knowledge base for integration. It has a web template you can use to sell online and take payments via Tellus. Currencies included at launch are CREDIT, BTC, ETH, LTC and ZAR (South Africa only), South African companies are able to use fiat based services to access their funds, vendors outside of South Africa can convert to cryptocurrency and withdraw to their local exchanges.
So merchants can accept payments via Tellus? The answer is ‘yes!’. All digital and cryptocurrency checkouts are enabled through the API and available globally with no restrictions.
The current version will be released on 12 June 2019 and will offer the following features:
