Planets of the Flokiverse: What are they and what do they do
Welcome back fellow TerraFloki fanatics to today’s edition of Into the Flokiverse. Today, we would like to shed more light on Planets and how players of Flokiverse will be able to use them to up their game, literally.
If you haven’t heard already, TerraFloki Labs is launching the first economic and strategic play-to-earn metaverse based on an NFT-as-a-Subscription model on Terra. In Flokiverse, you play the role of a Floki — a once advanced inter-galactic species which had modern technology taken away. Your ultimate goal is to save the entire Floki civilization and lead them out of the Dark Ages.
Introduction to the concept of Planets
There will be only ever 1024 planets in the Flokiverse. Each and every of these planets will be unique, represented immutably on blockchain as non-fungible tokens (NFTs). Players will be able to own a planet and become a Planet Landlord. So what makes these Planets unique? Size, type of surface, and the presence of moons and planet rings. Each planet will allow you to consume its natural resources — needed to build and expand cities for the next generations of Flokies. There will also be limited spots within each planet that will provide the foundation of the development for new cities. The limit on the number of city spots will be dependent on the planet’s size and level of adaptation.
Obey the Planetary Congress
Every player’s goal should be to extend your influence over as many Planets as possible. Each Planet will form its own DAO community, known as the Planetary Congress, with the power to vote in the Flokiverse Congress and shape the future of the Flokiverse by determining the outcome of policies and other relevant topics.
For instance, Planetary DAOs will be able to establish cooperation and trading deals with other DAOs for common profit, or opt to engage them in battle to take over the competing DAO’s voting power and resources. TerraFloki Labs is vested in having every player take control over every aspect of the game. By giving you Voting Power, the team’s goal is to enable players to be familiar with the basic concepts of the mechanics of DAO and the democracy it brings. In future, this will lead to deeper decisions relating to the future of the Flokiverse.
Becoming a Planet Landlord in the Flokiverse
Of the 1024 planets, 1000 will be available for minting on the Landlord Planetary Auction. The exact date of the Landlord Planetary Auction will be revealed in due course. The remaining 24 planets will be auctioned.
Benefits of becoming a Planet Landlord
By minting a Planet and becoming a Planet Lord in the Flokiverse, you will be in possession of great influence, power and gainz. As a Planet Lord you will be able to rent city spots on your planets to others in the form of a subscription. The Renters, fellow inhabitants of Flokiverse, will be obliged to pay taxes to Planet Landlords, for every action they take, as long as these actions take place on land owned by a Planet Landlord who has rented it to them.
