This is the choice I’ve come to realize where I have control.

Some days I might have have to hit the reset button more than once that day, and knowing I have this option leads to more more self-compassion. And before I know it, I start noticing those micro-shifts in my thinking pattern!

Removing the words *always* and *never* from my personal vocabulary seems to help, as well.
