‘Baby Driver’ Is a Flat-Noted Musical
Cassam Looch

I will admit I don’t have the knowledge you do of the director’s films and haven’t seen the films you mentioned, so I can understand if you feel his other works are better and you are using those as a comparison. I’m just a an average movie goer and all I know is I haven’t enjoyed a movie in a theater in a long time like I did while watching ‘Baby Drive’ . It is a movie to see on the ‘big screen’. It was visually pleasing, ( I just loved the laundry mat scene)the music was wonderful and to hear it loud was great. I loved the cute love story setup against the action packed robberies. Again, I clarify, I’m just a ‘regular joe’ movie goer with no theater knowledge, so my opinion lacks all the important educational background of theater knowledge.
