One of my favourite books. Wanted to read it again. Read The Goldfinch last year which was fantastic. Tried to read My Little Friend but couldn’t get through it.

If you want a new Tartt-esque author try Hanya Yanagihara. I read her first book The People in the Trees a few months ago, loved it, and am now reading A Little Life, which is beautiful and reminds me of Goldfinch.
