I’m so sorry. My family has been in a place very similar to yours, and what I can tell you is that it simply doesn’t matter that I’m sorry.

What does matter is that there are others. So many others. And reaching out to them can be helpful.

One way to reach out is to contact the MISS Foundation.

The MISS Foundation, established in 1996 by Dr. Joanne Cacciatore, is an international 501(c)3, volunteer based organization providing C.A.R.E. [counseling, advocacy, research, and education] services to families experiencing the death of a child.

Their compassionate support has been extremely helpful to us and might be helpful to you.
