because of all the time honored fear of modern man being either ‘gay, a sex starved male, plain old prevert etc.’ this has probably been the reason that human touch between ‘men/men and women/men’ especislly has become so crazy. I don’t see this fear in women like you do in men about for instance giving a good ol’ huge to a friend. We have all been told that its forbidden to touch others in any way and it has deprived alot of people of human affection. Then you have all these NEW inventions for trying to take the place of true warmth and affection of another human being…e.i. humanoid robots etc. I am very thankful that I happen to live in a small community that doesn’t see these things as a hidden agenda in every touch…we are down to earth and we give hugs that mean nothing else but to comfort a friend or welcome them into to our home…a hug from another human can be a life saver.

It breaks my heart to hear for instances all these vets that come home and take their lives…I always think I could have saved at least one of them by being there and understanding as much as I can and being supportive. I have a ranch in the middle of ‘no where’ in some people’s eyes but it would be a great place for a vet to come and re-enter the old world he knew before at a slow pace and wind down…my son did this exact thing at his tours.

Artificial touch is not and never will be the replacement for a sincere hug from a fellow human with compassion.
