This is an excellent piece! I hope a lot of folks newer to Medium will see it. It’s so very helpful to see it spelled out so nicely and clearly, and without any “hubris.” :)

The feedback I like best is comments. Hearts are nice, for sure, but when I get a comment I enjoy the engagement. Without comments it’s harder to know what might be “wrong” with the piece. Most times I chalk it up to the subject matter not being popular or understood. I guess ultimately I’m trying to find readers and writers who “get” me. Often enough I “get” them right back. But it’s a pretty slow process. :)
