This is lovely. At the farmer’s market near where I live, the vendors are all very nice, but I can’t help but feel an underlying, subtle sense of urgency. They need the money. I feel almost guilty handing them 5-dollar bills and then waiting for the few bills back in change. But then, I need them too.
