I created a publication, made my plans, asked for your help -and a lot of you jumped up to help. It was an ambitious idea to be sure. A “best of” publication, but set in a fantasy world so it would be just a little more than “read these stories” lists. I envisioned people would spin stories about stories. I have faith you would have. I named my idea “The Order Of the Green Heart”

Wow, I had no idea you were doing this. I recall seeing your post entitled “Order of the Green Heart” but it had seemed like a general update; I left a comment that I had salivated a bit thinking it was going to be a short fantasy fiction piece. So.. maybe I misread that piece, and I definitely missed any developments that occurred afterward. I’m kinda sad now, but you gotta do what you gotta do. :)

That’s great about The Weekly Knob! I haven’t tried submitting any pieces yet but may in the future. I have a hard time with prompts.

I’m not sure what “vanity” publications are. I mean, I have my own personal publication because it’s the easiest way (for me) to keep track of and organize favorite pieces in one place; otherwise they get very easily lost in my “Stories” stream. I guess when I see other folks’ personal publications I figure they’re doing the same thing. :)
