My Son’s Death Will Not Be In Vain
Transform the Pain

Dear Ren — Thank you for sharing these beautiful words about your dear son, Lorenzo, the disease of addiction that took his life, and some of what your life has been like since his passing. I know that it’s only a small piece. Please accept my sincere sympathy in the loss of your son. I am not a bereaved parent, but have had the privilege of getting to know quite a few through my work in grief support and chaplaincy. My heart goes out to you in the journey you are now on. May God bless you for trusting in Him to lead you to where you are now. It may very well end up being a place of great healing and peace for you. Take good care, Ren, and again … thank you for sharing your story.
