This story interested me because I have not until recently, had a FB account. I had to set one up for a particular communications unit in my Masters degree. I don’t check it; I haven’t accepted any ‘friends’ — but I used it to sign into Medium to make this comment. And I would not have found Medium if it wasn’t part of the same unit that necessitated signing up with FB. I intend to delete the FB account as soon as I complete the unit — that is in February 2016 —so I’ll be joining you in your resolution. But in the meantime I have been fascinated by the plethora of faces that have been sent to me as possible ‘friends’. In the main, they are people I have never seen before. I have plenty of real friends — all of whom use FB. They are content to let me know of important happenings in ordinary human ways. Enjoy being without FB Cody.
