Solve narrower problems

Filip Hracek

I do find this is an area where tools and open source projects should attempt to solve very narrow problems. Given a narrow focus, ‘hello world' is easy, scaling should be manageable. Some examples that come to mind: Redux, Lodash, Ramda, Q (when it was used), Superagent.

The best tools prove their long term value by influencing the language standards. Promises and many functional libs have done this with ES6–7.
