The age of deleveraging

This immediately reminded me of this great article from Jose Aguinaga: How it feels to learn JavaScript in 2016. Imagine you’ve seen it, but it’s very funny and insightful.

I think articles like yours will become the norm over the next few years. It will be something along the lines of ‘Why I am rejecting extremely complicated [INSERT TOOL HERE] to use the already supported [INSERT CAPABILITY HERE] in browsers and mobile devices.’

It will be a time of looking backward and asking how things got so crazy with build processes and design patterns. Also, hopefully, teams choosing the right tool for the job. Not over-engineering.
