Very good advice, not obvious to all

Many developers get this wrong. There is a constant desire to replicate their ‘best’ experiences with a language and bring all those structures and conventions to other places.

I like Rails, but I see this a lot with former Rails developers. They want to move everything toward that great prior experience. This causes confusion with those that lack the background and thrusts the project into a place with no rules.
