This isn’t an article. It’s Mark’s blog. Generally, I try to avoid walking into other folks’ digital living rooms, wiping my shoes on their furniture, and declaring that their accommodations are nothing like the Four Seasons.
And the logic is sound, BTW. In a board room, if a majority of the voices are advocates to your cause, you control the conversation. That’s exactly why Trump structured the meeting that way. If he had invited 50 tech leaders, he certainly would have brought in 20 family members. The trouble is he probably doesn’t have that many cousins, nieces, and nephews who can stomach being in the same room as him, so I think we can expect him to keep things quaint.
