I’m no fan of news corporation but the bias implied here is spurious at best. Vice before and after its infusion of cash hasn’t really changed much tonally, it has just grown much much bigger
Real problems with Vice are more like: not paying freelancers on time for doing dangerous reporting work in places like Syria.
And your closer is such a reach. I look forward to much more convincing evidence that the loudest voice is always the one that wins, but this article does very little to convince me of that. Rupert Murdoch controls an enormous amount of the media landscape and Vice is one of the ones that has almost none of his fingerprints on it in their coverage… he’s just an investor, not a controlling shareholder.
