How to create a Terra Wallet

Step 1: Go to the Terra Website, here’s the link: https://www.terra.money

Step 2: On the topmost corner of the page, click on the ‘Learn’ menu and four sub-menus will appear (Discover Terra, Guides, Wallet and Download Wallet)

Step 3: In the ‘Download Wallet’ section, you can choose what platform you prefer your Terra Wallet to be downloaded:

For Windows PC/Laptop:

Click on ‘Windows Wallet’ for Windows

For MacBook:

Click on ‘MacOS’ for Macbook (Apple)

For Linux:

Click on ‘Linux(.deb)’ or ‘Linux(.rpm)’

Step 4: Wait for the download to finish. This will only take around 10 seconds.

Step 5: Once the download is finished, it will appear on the bottom left side of your web browser. Click on it.

Step 6: After that, an installation notification will pop-up. Click on ‘Run’ and wait for the installation to finish. This will only take a few seconds.

Step 7: Once the installation is finished, go to your home screen and find the ‘Terra Station’ icon. Click on the icon twice to open the program.

Step 8: On the top left side corner, click on ‘Connect’

Step 9: Click on ‘New wallet’

Step 10: Write your wallet name, it should be at least 5–20 alphanumeric characters.

Step 11: Set-up your password. It should be unique.

Step 12: Confirm your password.

Step 13: Then, in the ‘Mnemonic’ section, you will see a collection of phrases or words. This is your ‘seed phrase’ which will serve as your private key. Click on ‘Copy’.

Step 14: Secure the notes or word where you kept your seed phrase by stashing it onto a secured place to avoid hacking. (Make sure to remember where you put your seed phrase as this will be required every time you log-in to your Terra Station Wallet.

Step 15: Go back to the Terra Station program. Tick the box

Step 16: Click ‘Submit

Step 17: Click the box that matches the number of the specific word in your seed phrase.
