These are photos from Laura Dart’s portfolio. Shot on film, the photos capture the Kinfolk-lifestyle that’s super ‘in’ these days. Despite knowing it’s a trend that I’ve been brainwashed to like, I can’t help but be attracted. A bit faded, muted colors, clay, natural textiles, landscapes…and the idea that life can be simple….

I hope to visit some of these places and take a few photos of my own, in the middle of a desert or at the top of Crater Lake.
