The cultural norms are so different in China. Parents put a lot of pressure on their kids to be highly educated. We know that students who are pressured (for one reason or another), cheat.

The student in this story is going to an American university and is from China. That is why this works, because both the student and the cheater are second language learners. Technology makes cheating like this possible, even though they are living on separate continents.

It’s way too easy, and it scares me.
