Born a hooper, Born who I am
From the day I was born I fell in love. No, no I didn’t fall in love with a person. I fell in love with a game. Basketball. That’s my game. That’s my love. My parents told me that the first thing I did after I got out of the hospital was going to my brother's basketball game. I immediately fell in love with the sport after that first game. From then on, it was love at first sight. Basketball. Hard work, dedication, blood, sweat, and even tears went into this. It has been my life ever since the beginning. Started when I was in kindergarten, now I’m here.

Song
This song is important to me because it is our country’s national anthem. It is played at every sporting event including the Super Bowl. In this past year there were some arguments about the national anthem, but I believe that you should still respect it even with controversies surrounding it.

Inspirational People
Isaiah Thomas- He defied what people think you need to have to make it in the NBA, height. Isaiah Thomas is 5'9 and was the last pick in the 2011 draft. He shows me that heart over height really does matter. He is living proof of that. He is an inspiration.

Martin Luther King Jr.- He wrote arguably one of the biggest/most important speeches in history. He wrote the “I Have a Dream Speech.” This speech was given to discus the civil rights movement. Martin Luther King Jr. was a big part of why the civil rights law was passed.

Abraham Lincoln- He stood up for people who couldn’t fight for themselves. He has inspired me to stand up for others who don’t have a voice.
