Hey Jeremy, I just felt as you did reading what happened to Susan J. Fowler.
I was also an Uber customer and I could witness the same thing here in France with unemployed people from our cities suburbs getting a first job with Uber when everything else was closed for them.
But I think that Uber just created a market and a need that we’re now used to. So even if Uber is the leading player now, our behavior, as customers, can make a change.
As they say… “Nature abhors a vacuum.” and I’m sure that if Uber gets hit hard (as they should), we can expect some other businesses to rise up instead.
