How My Peter Pan Syndrome Landed Me In Prison For 10 Years
Russel Omar-Shareef

As a prison volunteer who grew up outside Philadelphia, and one who has been in the Graterford prison (with Temple University’s Inside Out College Program), as well as the Chester prison and the Delaware County Prison, a.k.a. The Hill (with the Thresholds Delco program) this is a great story. I’ve met about a hundred or so incarcerated individuals, and most of them share similar stories. The system is sickeningly broken and people are still ignoring the facts, that too many people are being incarcerated for longer periods of time for smaller infractions of the law. Power to you for using art to keep you afloat. Good luck.
