Jazz have Gobert to build around, but may struggle to replace Hayward’s scoring…while Portland may struggle to make the playoffs and needs to dump salary. So…

Something centered around CJ McCollum and Evan Turner for Burks, Hood and Favors…who says no? I believe the Jazz would have to send another future pick or something in addition, maybe Diaw’s contract (that Portland could immediately waive to save money) for matching purposes.

Portland gets a better defender to pair with Lillard, and Burks could be a reasonably priced bench scorer. Plus a great defender to put next to Nurkic up front…and gets out of Turner’s money.

Jazz get a legit scoring star, whom they should still have enough good defenders to hide. Plus, Turner’s salary isn’t great but he’s a useful player, especially to run the offense with a bench unit.
