Brazil is made up of almost even numbers of female and male citizens. However the new government, led by President Temer, appointed a cabinet made up entirely of all male ministers. Although this action sparked controversy amongst the population and many comparisons to countries that do things differently, like Canada for example, Brazil clearly demonstrated that it still has a long way to go to decrease the parity that exists between genders.
