This is so true! I have noticed the same thing with my dancing classes. I take jazz dance classes 3 times a week since the beginning of the year as both therapy and exercise. I noticed that after we had breaks for a week or more my perfomance would improve. It was like my body could understand what my brain was telling it to do — spins, glissés, piqués, etc. Even the routines are better assimilated.
