The Future of Chat Isn’t AI
Ted Livingston

Yeah, only now we will end up having 1000s of bots to look out for or discover instead of the 1000s of Apps. Again the interaction can become quite unwieldy in many cases. If you keep the interaction to a very simple flow, then it can mean 1000s of bots for each and every small thing. For example, a train ticket booking bot needs invariably to put out the information on availability of seats, trains in a route after you tell your travel plan and then you need to select and there can be several choices before you finally pay for it.

AI in some form to understand humans is the only way else, there will be highly fragmented bot world like the app world. And I feel it is worth to invest in that even though it may be a little long term than to shift from the App mess to the Bot mess.
