Review | The video for this lesson was Figma Prototyping Tutorial-Text Animation under 5 mins!!! (Smart Animate) by Design with Aashish. It went over using Smart Animate to animate text. Overall very quick, simple, and easy to follow.
Reflection | I decided to take a break from the design system for a day, use the text and color system I previously created in the past few days, and do a quick and easy tutorial this Sunday. Text animation isn’t something I’ve done even in Figma but it's always good to experiment with Smart Animate. The process for this specific tutorial felt really similar to animations I have previously done in Adobe After Effects, with each screen mimicking a keyframe marking on a timeline and I think that made this tutorial and the process, in general, easier to conceptualize.
