That is heartbreaking. My son (he’s 23) told me that he thinks the medicine makes me not care about things and when I tried to explain that was kinda the point to a degree because I tend to overthink and worry too much. His reply was “but that’s what makes you you”. It made me sad that he sees me that way but also made me realize that he will love me no matter what my faults may be.
