Passionate Dance

A fiery sensation burn within
As waves of want chant a sin
Tangled bodies mingle in one
And heartbeats fasten while it’s done.

Glances and words are thrown in chime
In a dance as old as tine
While the pairs transcend the space
The ritual keeps its longing pace

Highs and lows rhythm the play
As lovers’ nights turn into days
Even the shiest forgets their coy
The moment it all explodes into joy

For a moment life ceases to exist
And the bodies remain a twist
There’s nothing left besides the feeling
Of overwhelming peace and reeling.
