Oof sad story!

So Hamas' rise to power came with the aid of the U.S. and Israel supplying them with an insane amount of weapons.

Insane.

And it's from the U.S. and Israel, so they were quite advanced weapons.

Hamas also eliminated one of their competitors completely.

They're a scary entity unfortunately. It's hard for civilians with no weapons or powers to go up against such a powerful organization that's backed by some of the most powerful people in the world :(
