The Never Do list
I’ve read countless articles and blogs about productivity, most of them recommend some form of To Do list.
I’ve tried all sorts of lists, on paper, on my phone/tablet , and none of them work. It seems the very act of committing the task to paper drives it from my head, never to be seen again, hence the title of this piece.
A better option might be the Done List. Every day, write down at least one task you have accomplished that you have been putting off. Put it in your diary or journal if you keep one, or better still on your wall planner.
Every time you look at your wall planner you will be reminded of the successful tasks you completed, not the failures of the incomplete To Do list.
