#55: Stream of Consciousness.
Sometimes writing can be difficult. Today is one of those days.
I’ve been sitting with this page open for hours, waiting for that lightning bolt of inspiration to strike. To write down a word, a sentence, an eloquently phrased paragraph that I can publish here. Something I can be proud of.
But I’m drawing a blank.
Not even that — I’m staring at an empty screen, wishing that the letters would appear to me and bring themselves together.
And I’m trying to learn to be okay with that. To accept the fact that not every day is filled with inspired musings and passionate pen-to-paper (or, more often than not, finger-to-keyboard) moments. Some days just have to be about the daily grind. (As soon as I click ‘Publish’ on this, I’m going back to editing two videos for a deadline and creating publicity materials from scratch, on top of finishing a funding application and trying to get actual work done.)
My creative endeavours live on outside of writing.
